TOP 300 MOVIES OF ALL TIME: #270 "SWING TIME"

The great and highly under rated George Stevens directed this Fred and Ginger vehicle. I must admit, I get all the films confused, because they are so alike. That's not really a bad thing as all of their film's are first rate.

Our Man, Fred Astaire flees a wedding fearing he can't earn his keep. Ending up in New York, he stumbles upon Ginger Rogers who as it turns out is a dance instructor. Simple as all that. Except that Fred and Ginger elevate what might otherwise be a forgettable project.
