What Does St. Malachy Have To Say About The Next Pope?

I don't put any faith in the Prophecy of St. Malachy, but I am not fond of tempting fate either. Below is a link that at least delves into it briefly.

From: The Astute Bloggers

IF THE PAPAL PROPHECY OF ST. MALACHY CONTINUES TO BE CORRECT - AND IT WAS WITH BENEDICT, THEN THE NEXT POPE WILL BE NAMED OR WILL TAKE THE NAME PETER.

Petrus Romanus
The longest and final motto reads in the original Latin:
In pſecutione extrema S.R.E. ſedebit.
Petrus Romanus, qui paſcet oues in multis tribulationibus:
quibus tranſactis ciuitas ſepticollis diruetur;
Iudex tre mẽdus iudicabit po pulum ſuum. Finis.
This is usually translated into English as:
"In the extreme persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit [as bishop] Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations: and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the terrible judge will judge his people. The End."
THEREFORE, THE ELECTION OF A MAN NAMED PETER TO THE PAPACY (OR A MAN WHO WILL TAKE THE NAME POPE PETER) MAY VERY WELL PORTEND THE DESTRUCTION OF ROME, THE END OF THE RC CHURCH AND, PERHAPS, EVEN THE END-TIMES.

THE FRONT-RUNNER IS COINCIDENTALLY CARDINAL PETER TURKSON AND HIS ELECTION WOULD FULFILL THE PROPHECY.
