The last few days we have become aware of Media Matters' change in mission. They are now in "sabotage" mode where Fox News is concerned. The George Soros financed Media Matters is run by David Brock, a former darling of the right and investigative reporter for The American Spectator.
I remember picking up his book, "The Real Anita Hill". I never did get around to reading it. This guy has been a media whore for as long as I can remember. Exactly what has he ever created or originated? Washington is filled with pundits reliving their glory days by giving "expert" opinions on any show that will listen or think tank that will take them in. What about David Brock? A former conservative muckraker that has disavowed the muck he raked.
So, now with a George Soros checkbook he's a liberal lackey. Pretty convenient. Again, he's not offering anything new, creative or original. He's just the same hack he always was. Have Conservatives missed him? Has Conservatism lacked for his continued participation? Are we really afraid of this so called watchdog? Of course not and that's because he has no real core, no principles at heart. When he didn't find himself at the forefront of the movement he bailed.
Guys like Brock are seen by all but themselves for what they are. A puppet. The difference is who is pulling the strings. And the guy that's signing the checks. David Brock was never a conservative. He was exploiting a popular movement and when he failed to produce anything of value, he became a liberal. George Soros's puppet.
Puppets have no real core, no heart, no will to resist. They roll over. That's what David Brock is at heart. He's a Soros puppet lacking a critical eye fully embracing mediocrity while condemning productive and meaningful enterprises like Fox News. Not that Roger Ailes or Rupert Murdoch are shaking in their boots.
David Brock: Always looking for someone to pull the strings.
