NFL PICKS WEEK FIVE 2014

I was 7-6 last week and John was 8-5 bringing our season long records to 32-29 & 34-27.  We both had the Packers on Thursday Night Football.

Here are this weeks' picks:

1.) Carolina Panthers (2-2) at home (-2) vs. Chicago Bears (2-2)

I just can't take the Bears on the road.

PICK: PANTHERS

2.) Tennessee Titans (1-3) at home (-1) vs. Cleveland Browns (2-2) 

Tennessee has no identity.

PICK: BROWNS

3.) Philadelphia Eagles (3-1) at home (-7) vs. St. Louis Rams (1-2)

The Rams can't stop the run. Shady gets his yards.

PICK: EAGLES

4.) New York Giants (2-2) at home (-4) vs. Atlanta Falcons (2-2)

GMEN are at home and on a roll.

PICK: GIANTS

5.) New Orleans Saints (1-3) at home (-10.5) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-3)

Mike Glennon adds a spark at QB.

PICK: BUCS TO COVER

6.) Dallas Cowboys (3-1) at home (-6) vs. Houston Texans (3-1)

Too many points.

PICK: TEXANS TO COVER

7.) Detroit Lions (3-1) at home (-7) vs. Buffalo Bills (2-2) 

Lions at home. Nuff said.

8.) Indianapolis Colts (2-2) at home (-3) vs. Baltimore Ravens (3-1)

Luck is hotter than Hades.

9.) Pittsburgh Steelers (2-2) (-6.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars (0-4)

Poor Jacksonville.

PICK: STEELERS

10.) Denver Broncos (2-1) at home (-8) vs. Arizona Cardinals (3-0)

Too many points.

PICK: CARDINALS TO COVER

11.) San Francisco 49ers (2-2) at home (-5.5) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (2-2)

Too many points.

PICK: CHIEFS TO COVER

12.) San Diego Chargers (3-1) at home (-7) vs. New York Jets (1-3)

Geno Smith should open a cheese steak franchise.                 

PICK: CHARGERS

13.) Cincinnati Bengals (3-0) (-1.5) at New England Patriots (2-2)

Pats look disoriented.

PICK: BENGALS 

14.) Seattle Seahawks (3-1) (-7.5) vs. Washington Redskins (1-3) 

Kirk Cousins vs. Seahawks defense?
